During sessions
The number of sessions required will depend on the individual needs of the client. Although the first session is always a consultation so we may gather the relevant information and discuss how the hypnotherapy will work.
Hypnotherapy helps you to think using your ‘Intellectual Brain’. When we think from this part of our brain, we usually get things right in life. It helps us make logical decisions and allows us to assess situations properly. Of course, we can’t always change the events in our lives, but we can change how we choose to think about them with practice.
During sessions, we like to address the positives by asking questions like ‘What’s been good?’ – establishing positive thought patterns helps you cope with life between sessions. Then, we’ll explore how these positive things make you feel, helping you visualise small steps towards your new goals that become more achievable with the help of hypnotherapy.
We will supply relaxation audio to use between sessions – we believe that this helps to relax, but it also reinforces the benefits of your hypnotherapy.
