How can solution-focused therapy help?
Solution-focused hypnotherapy is a great way to reduce your anxiety and help you to make more positive reflections. Hypnosis is a state of mind that allows you to become more open-minded than you would normally be.
One of the many reasons that people are susceptible to becoming depressed is that they allow unhelpful thoughts to grow, before eventually they become too much to handle.
However, it is important to note that a thought cannot cause you problems unless you believe it to be true – which is easier said than done as most people with depression believe such thoughts. Although it is important that you are owning your feelings, the downside is that taking on certain thoughts can damage the quality of your life.
Which is why solution-focused therapy can be an extremely helpful tool – you are able to accept new ideas because they are presented to you as being ‘positive’ and over time hypnosis can help you to believe it and to change the way you think about certain situations.
By gaining control over your thoughts, you are making the positive changes needed to increase the quality of your life.
